Store Updates and Ballerina Lolita

Hi there!  :D  This past couple of months has been really busy for me, so I apologize if it seems like I've been living under a rock.  :(  This post will be focusing mostly on details about the newly-stocked Happy Catmint Big Cartel store, including store policies and how to place orders.  At the end of this post, you'll find a photo of me taken by my very talented friend Matt Eddy; I like to call the coordinate "Ballerina Lolita" or "Lollerina".  XD

Happy Tuesday, everyone~!  :D  It's been a couple of weeks since my last post, as lots of things are going on right now, so this is going to serve as an update~.

I usually try to post twice-per-week, but it's been tricky for me to post at all lately; standard posts will be pared down to once-per-week, mostly likely occurring on Tuesdays (since HC usually gets noticeably more reader traffic on Tuesdays than Thursdays).

A couple of weeks ago, I changed the layout from two columns to three.  :D  It's going to take some getting-used-to, but I think it'll be in the blog's best interest in the end.

You'll notice that the "Team-up with HC!" page has been replaced with "★ Shop HC ♥"!  :D  This is what I'm particularly excited about, since this was my main goal for this blog all along; a means of updating store information!  I have to get some of the finer details sorted out before officially posting anything for sale, but in the meantime, I'll be posting updates on what is being made and what will be for sale.  Updates will also be posted on the ★ Shop HC ♥ page, so you can always check back there if you'd like to see lots of store information all in one place.  :D

Cooking with Catmint: Royal Icing and Tool Basics

It's finally time for Part 2 of the Orange Sugar Cookies with Royal Icing tutorial!  I was away earlier this week; Tuesday was my birthday, and Ryan took me to a beach resort for it!  :D  That'll be the topic of an upcoming post.  :3

Although I don't do it as often as I should, I'm a big fan of baking, and I love decorating sweets.  I've been looking forward to writing a post that focuses heavily on the tools needed to pipe icing, be it buttercream or royal or what-have-you; it's important because I'll be referencing back to it often for future cooking tutorials.
